The object in transition that I am showing here reveals itself both in the development of the ceramic lamp from the ancient ceramic oil lamp to contemporary light fixtures, and the metamorphosis of a contemporary day to day object to the ceramic medium in a new and completely different use.
SHELLS-I
Works inspired by organic husks and sea shells.
PAPERWARE
Plates and cups inspired by mass production and disposable paper ware.
2000
Works inspired by maritime flora and fauna, following extended diving trips to Sinai.
1998-II
The objects are thrown on the wheel made of stoneware and glazed. Fired to 1240ºC.
1998-I
Stoneware works, refer to the restoration of ceramic ware found in archeological digs, as well as to natural formations and geological phenomena.
GRADUATING PORJECT
A study of work processes by freezing various stages.
